Idealistic or Realistic?

I've been slow at blogging lately, having nothing to really say or not so much say but get my words and thoughts straight so that it actually will make sense. So instead, I am going to write about the ideal guy. (My friend actually came up with this idea.)
I like guys who:
-Read
-Long board (haha of course this isn't a requirement)
-Don't care what anyone else thinks about them
-Are really passionate about a certain something
-Are kind, generous, honest, caring... (That could go on for a while)
-Are free spirited and open-minded
-Has a talent of any sort, even if it's down right embarrassing :)
{ That's kinda sorta probably where my list just about ends...for now }

Question:
Whats your ideal guy?( even if you already have one) That's okay if you're completely unrealistic, actually it's encouraged :)

-Oh, La-

"Oh, La. We've got a lot to learn from eachother, we have got to stick together."
- Ra Ra Riot

I have always thought the best way to learn something, was to learn it from someone who doesn’t know that they are teaching. In that being said, to not know you’ve learned it until something happens, something that changes a specific thing about you. In a way that you know you’ll never forget but also hard to put a finger on what it is exactly.

I’m working on a documentary, that no one will probably ever see.

It involves eight very different people.
It has no particular direction and no forethought meaning
But…
I see it as an opportunity to see in someone else’s eyes for a day.
Maybe learn a few things [hopefully]
My plan was to ask insightful and meaningful questions. I have thought of a few but maybe you could help with some more?
It would be much appreciated :)
"There's some things we don't talk about
Rather do without
And just hold the smile
Falling in and out of love
Ashamed and proud of
Together all the while"

-It's been a while, since I've seen you smile-

HOLY JONAS BROTHERS
So I haven't blogged in a while. It saddens me. I still have to answer those I've-been-tagged questions! But first I want to read what I've missed on everyones' spectacularly lovely blogs!

12 days to We Day!
2 days until the Greg Sczebel concert :)
81 Days|23 Hours|11 Minutes -- until Christmas, but who's counting?

A thought

What if we could forget about everything? Hate, money, technology, anything artificial… Just for a second, if you thought and felt nothing but love? To breathe in air so fresh you could almost float away. To sing a song of sweet meaningless words. Until you could almost hear only a whisper...

My favourite picture of the week ::

 It's cute,
I think.

Ponder? Maybe...

A few things that I've always wondered...

Can you cry underwater?

What is the speed of dark?

Why do all of the deeply insightful questions get ignored, while the superficial or rhetorical ones do not?

Why is it that rain drops but snow falls?

What is something you've always wondered?

:SaltwaterRoomForever:

I've read this series called The Mortal Instruments and will soon be reading The Infernal Devices. They are absolutely amazing books. The feelings you get when reading them are indescribable. For some odd reason, whenever I hear certain Owl City songs they totally remind me of the story. It's quite crazy and I don't know why because they don't at all match. But it's just this feeling I get when I hear them. Odd, I know.
So I was wondering... do you associate any songs with something completely opposite?
"So tell me darling, do you wish we'd fall in love?

Yeah, all the time, all the time"
-Saltwater Room

"Take me above your light

Carry me through the night

Hold me secure in flight

Sing me to sleep tonight"
-Hello Seattle

"Sands and gears, oh, how the daisies bloom

When chandeliers light up the engine room

Can you feel the drops as it starts to rain."
-Umbrella Beach

-Beautiful Princess-

I found this on a picture and thought it was really beautiful...

Cinderella walked on broken glass.
Sleeping Beauty let a whole lifetime pass.
Belle fell in love with a hideous beast.
Jasmine married a common thief.
Ariel walked on land for love and life.
Snow White barely escaped a knife.
It was all about blood, sweat, and tears.
Because love means facing your biggest fears.

However I don't know the source (of either) so if you do, please let me know :)

::King Midas::

" Hail, Midas. Ha ha ha! Thou, rascal, thou. Shall we turn the Earth to gold? The rivers, the mountains, the stars, the moon, the sky... a universe of gold! "

I've always found something special about the story or rather myth of 'King Midas' Golden Touch'. He was capable of hospitality but yet it was greed. His beautiful gift became a curse. In the time of  fear he realized that with nothing, with no love what could he do? Midas couldn't touch anyone, it was as if he was no longer human. Accidentally killing his daughter, he realized what he truly wanted in life. It is no lie that King Midas turned everything to gold, but it wasn't gold he wanted, was it?

...I bleed the colour of love but only through my fear...

.Timeless.

There was always something magical about flying from Dublin to Vancouver. The flight is nine hours and the time goes back nine hours. It is as if time stayed completely still but yet the time draws out so long. It's as if you never left place. Kind of like travelling from one place to another in a snap of your fingers. I wonder what it would be like to lose no time...

+Something New+

I've decided to write a paragraph about the same thing and stay consistent but using 35 song titles ! The italics+bolded are the titles and commas are separating some. Here goes :)

Hey Jude,

Trust me, I'm in over my head but a love like this, can't let go. We thought that falling in love at a coffee shop was just a teenage dream but you made it real so never say never. Lie to me, talk to me because all you need is love. To be with you, a thousand miles I would walk. I can't stop loving you and without you, everyday is exactly the same. This isn't a lyrical lie so I must be dreaming because everything I ask for is you and I got you. Open your eyes, I won't break your heart. Big girls don't cry so I'll be gone going if you don't love me. Comfortably numb, I gotta feeling, I'm so in love with you. If it's love, I'm yours :) Don't leave me now, don't sail on sailor, take a chance on me...

Stairs please!

I was browsing the web and found these amazing stairs! When I saw them I gasped in love and disbelief at such geniusness. Levitate Architects of London designed this bookshelf staircase and I think that I'm in love! I never thought that I would say this, but these are my dream stairs right here!

The Sweetest Thing

:: So I found this, but I'm not sure where, so sadly I can't  give credit to anyone. But if you know, please comment, then I'll gladly give whoever came up with this credit! But I absolutley love this, I hope you will too. ::
Girls are like
apples on trees. The best
ones are at the top of the tree.
The boys don't want to reach for
the good ones because they are afraid
of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they
just get the rotten apples from the ground
that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples
at the top think something is wrong with
them, when in reality, they're amazing.
They just have to wait for the right
boy to come along, the one
who's brave enough
to climb
all the way
to the top
of the tree.

Virgil, my love.

I was reading about Virgil. In case you don't know who he is, (then you are crazy! Just kidding!) Virgil was a classical Roman poet. One of the best, actually. I'd like to quote him from what I think is one of the most inquisitive quotes of all time. It's simple yet so meaningful, I fell in love with it at first read:

"Death twitches my ear. "Live," he says, "I am coming." "~Virgil
I just found it ingenious in a way that I can't explain. It's as if you can hear death whispering too. Take from it what you can, just take something.

:.The begining.:

Hello !

So, right now, I know that I am more or less just writing to myself. I mean no one knows this exists. But if you happen to stumble upon this clutter of words, please read them. I would read yours.

Today, I write about something that is already gone, isn't gone, over there, close to you. I want to experience the world through other peoples eyes. I want just one person to say "I learned something from that girl." or "Oh yeah, I read that blog." Because it's not about being remembered, it's about leaving a memory, even if now one knows it was yours. It's my way of spreading love over a keyboard, even if it only reaches me :)
